Hum[AI]n-thics: Exploring Artificial Intelligence and Ethics in Greece

The Hum[AI]n-thics: Innovate with Conscience Erasmus+ Youth Exchange brought together young participants in Trikala, Greece, for an inspiring week dedicated to artificial intelligence and ethics. After completing a successful pre-departure preparation meeting, participants arrived in Athens and continued their journey to Trikala, ready to engage in a unique learning experience.

🤖 AI Meets Ethics: Learning with Purpose

Throughout the project, participants explored the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence and its ethical implications. Through non-formal learning methods, discussions, and collaborative activities, they developed a deeper understanding of how AI can be used responsibly and consciously.

The programme encouraged critical thinking, innovation, and dialogue, helping participants reflect on the role of technology in shaping society and the importance of ethical responsibility.

🌍 Erasmus+: More Than Just a Project

For many participants, this experience went beyond academic learning. Erasmus+ once again proved to be a life-changing journey—bringing together young people from across Europe, fostering intercultural understanding, and creating lifelong memories.

Participants had the opportunity to connect with diverse cultures, share perspectives, and rediscover themselves in a supportive and international environment.

🏛️ Discovering Cultural Heritage: Meteora Experience

One of the highlights of the project was the visit to Meteora, one of the world’s most remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Built by monks in the 14th century on towering rock formations, Meteora represents resilience, spirituality, and harmony with nature.

Participants explored this extraordinary site while reflecting on its historical and cultural significance. The experience provided a powerful connection between heritage, personal growth, and global awareness.
 

🤝 Intercultural Exchange and Personal Growth

Throughout the week, participants engaged in intercultural activities, teamwork, and shared experiences that strengthened friendships and collaboration. The project created a safe and dynamic environment where young people could express themselves, exchange ideas, and grow together.

By the end of the project, participants not only gained knowledge about AI and ethics but also developed greater self-awareness and a broader perspective on life.

The Hum[AI]n-thics project successfully combined technology, ethics, and cultural exploration into a meaningful Erasmus+ experience. It empowered young people to think critically, act responsibly, and embrace diversity.
