Don't Read Analyze Deeply

May 2023

This Erasmus+ youth worker mobility project brought together participants from different countries to strengthen media literacy, intercultural dialogue, and social inclusion. Through non-formal learning methods such as collaborative work, role-playing, and project-based activities, participants actively engaged in critical thinking, communication, and creative expression. The project also aimed to increase awareness of the Erasmus+ programme and promote the inclusion of disadvantaged individuals while fostering international cooperation and cultural exchange.

Strengthening Media Literacy Through Non-Formal Education

Throughout the project, participants engaged in interactive and practical learning activities designed to enhance their understanding of media literacy. Workshops included poster design, short film production, and group presentations, allowing participants to explore key concepts in an engaging and creative way.

Non-formal education played a central role, encouraging active participation rather than passive learning. This approach helped participants not only gain knowledge but also apply it in real-life contexts.

Intercultural Exchange and Collaboration

Participants from diverse cultural backgrounds worked together in teams, fostering intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding. Activities such as brainstorming sessions, group projects, and cultural evenings created a space where ideas, traditions, and perspectives were openly shared.

Urban activities and street interviews further strengthened participants’ communication skills by encouraging direct interaction with local communities.

Digital Tools and Project Sustainability

Digital tools were actively used throughout the project to support collaboration and dissemination. Participants created visual and educational content, which was later shared عبر social media and online platforms.

To ensure long-term impact, project outputs such as media literacy materials and training content were made accessible online, reaching a wider audience beyond the project itself.

Inclusion and Personal Development

A strong focus was placed on including participants with fewer opportunities. The project created an inclusive environment where everyone could actively participate and benefit equally.

By the end of the project, participants showed increased self-confidence, improved communication skills, and a stronger sense of belonging within an international community.

This Erasmus+ youth worker mobility project successfully empowered participants with essential digital and social skills while promoting intercultural understanding and inclusion. It created a meaningful learning experience that extended beyond the project duration and contributed to the personal and professional development of all participants.
